Acrylic paints
(Liquid work fine, are affordable and easy for beginners. That’s what I’m using
Cobalt Blue
White
Burnt Umber (brown)
Just 3 colors
Brushes
(Synthetic brushes are also more affordable, durable and fine to use)
Most of our paintings are done using these 3 brushes
3/4” or 1” Flat brush
#12 (medium) flat brush
#2 (small) round detail brush

What to have on hand
Canvas or Acrylic Paper - I used a 12” x 12” Stretched canvas
A cup to rinse your brushes
Paper towels
A disposable plate to use as a palette
A PERMANENT black marker (if it isn’t a permanent marker, it will bleed when you start to paint)
